Heroin and the Law

Heroin is an extremely addictive drug. Although it is very cheap and easy to get, people can develop extremely expensive habits. This causes them to steal, pawn their loved ones possessions and do other things for money that seem extremely out of character. Stealing, shoplifting, possessing heroin and using heroin are all crimes that result with jail time. Time served depends on the severity of the crime, the amount of heroin found on the person and the state they live in.
